As Catholics around the world celebrate a newly elected pope, this evening “Piers Morgan Live” invited Rick Santorum to share his reactions and insights to an event watched worldwide.

“I was teary-eyed when I saw,” said the former Republic presidential candidate, in describing the first appearance of Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio now known as Pope Francis. “It’s an incredibly moving moment, and to see the humility of this man – obviously, a man who is very much of the people, exactly as some of your commentators were saying – exactly what the Church needs right now, is someone who focuses on holiness, focuses on the mission of the Church which is to serve God, and serve His people here on Earth, and it seems like [that’s] what Pope Francis has in mind.”

US  elections are getting closer .its neck to neck competition..obama & romney..both tough contestants for president post. but i thing the people of US want their current president to continue another term in the office. according to CNN survey obama has 49% votes and romney has 48% votes share. lets see..but as a indian i m concerned as to which president is more useful for the growth of india , which one can handle the issues of india like ‘kashmir issue’  in a more favorable way..lets see..but broadly speaking its a important election on world level as we can say that the people of america are choosing a man who will rule the world!!
